Copeland Majolica lotus flower pitcher

Victorian, circa 1877. 7.7ins high, 6.3ins wide, 5.1ins depth. Copeland Majolica jug/pitcher which features a pink and white lotus flower and a large leaf on each of the four panels.





Colouration: grey, cobalt blue, green, are predominant.





The piece bears maker's marks for the Copeland pottery. English diamond registration mark for the date 02/07/1877.

Condition

CONDITION: Very good. No restoration. Small flake to corner of rim.



KILN EFFECTS: over glazed shrinkage line to the interior;



glaze run to the rim.
