Victorian, circa 1877. 7.8ins high, 6.7ins wide, 4.7ins depth. Copeland Majolica jug/pitcher which features a pink
and white lotus flower and a large leaf on each of the four panels.
Colouration: brown, green, cobalt blue, are predominant.
The piece bears maker's marks for the Copeland pottery.
English diamond registration mark for the date 02/07/1877.

Condition
CONDITION: Generally good.
Tight hairline to rim.
Wear to the high points of the molding;
a few specks of kiln detritus caught in the glaze to the exterior;
touch mark to the rim.
RESTORATION. Stabilised and retouched hairline to the underside running up on to the side of the jug.
