Pair of Cunha Portuguese Palissy Majolica wall plates which feature a branch with cherries and leaves.
Colouration: green, puce, brown, are predominant. The piece bears maker's marks for the Cunha pottery.

Plate 1: Good. Chipped tip to two leaves.
Some small flakes to leaves.
KILN EFFECTS: kiln detritus caught in the glaze to the ground;
glaze miss to the ground.
RESTORATION. Filled chips to five stems.

Some small flakes to leaves.
KILN EFFECTS: glaze misses to the ground;
kiln detritus caught in the glaze to the ground.
RESTORATION. Remodelled 3 stems.
