Large Minton Majolica lion mask jardinière
Victorian, circa 1870. 17.3ins high, 19.7ins wide, 19.7ins depth. Minton Majolica jardinière which features lion mask handles and lion paw feet.
Turquoise ground version. Colouration: white, pink, ochre, are predominant.
The piece bears maker's marks for the Minton pottery. Bears a pattern number, '1023'.

Condition
CONDITION: Generally good. Small, shallow chip to white support above one foot and a bruise to another.
Small flakes to rim, two noses, feet, ochre trim, and white supports above feet.
Scratches from use.
KILN EFFECTS: over glazed shrinkage line to one ring.
RESTORATION. Three of the six fee are remodelled.
Two of the six are reglued and joins retouched.
One ring is also remodelled.
