Victorian, circa 1885. 3.5ins high, 9.8ins wide, 5.3ins depth. Wedgwood Majolica sardine box which features a fishing boat named 'SARDINIA'.
Colouration: brown, blue, grey, are predominant.
The piece bears maker's marks for the Wedgwood pottery. Bears a pattern number, 'M2582'. English diamond registration mark for the date 23/10/1878.
Marks include a factory specific date cipher for the year 1885.
