Victorian, circa 1870. 9.4ins high, 15.2ins wide, 15.2ins depth. Minton Majolica hanging basket which features a foliate border with a central flower at the bottom.







Colouration: Minton-blue ochre, green, are predominant.

Condition

CONDITION: Good. Some small flakes to leaves around the chain supports and to centre of flower.











KILN EFFECTS: a few specks of kiln detritus caught in the glaze to the ground.







RESTORATION. Retouched flakes to leaves.
