French Majolica cockerel vase
Victorian, circa 1900. 11.2ins high, 8.3ins wide, 5.7ins depth. Unidentified French Majolica spill vase which features a cockerel/rooster stood in front of the vase modelled in the form of a sunflower and leaves.
Colouration: ochre, grey, puce, are predominant.
Bears a pattern number, '1513 07'.
Condition
CONDITION: Good.
KILN EFFECTS: over glazed shrinkage lines to the left ankle.
RESTORATION. Filled chips to comb.
Retouched flake to petal on sunflower.
