Victorian, circa 1870. 8.2ins high, 10.6ins wide, 1.7ins depth.
Alcock Majolica platter which features strawberries, grapes, blossoms and leaves.
Colouration: green, ochre, brown, are predominant.
The piece bears maker's marks for the Alcock pottery.

Condition
Generally good. Wear to the high points of the molding.
KILN EFFECTS: glaze run to all the glazes;
a few specks of kiln grit caught in the glaze to the interior.
RESTORATION. Stabilised and retouched 2 hairlines to rim.
Filled chip to under rim.
