Victorian, circa 1875. 9.1ins high, 9.1ins wide, 1.2ins depth.
Wedgwood Majolica plate which features a pictorial scene of a hound with game and a gun.
Colouration: blue, brown, ochre, are predominant. The piece bears maker's marks for the Wedgwood pottery.
Marks include a factory specific date cipher for the year 1875.

Good. No restoration.
Tight hairline to one reticulation on the rim.
Staining from use.
KILN EFFECTS: stilt marks to reverse, one which has left a shallow surface chip to the underside.
