Victorian, circa 1879. 13.9ins high, 10ins wide, 9.4ins depth. Mintons Majolica ewer which features cavaliers and soldiers drinking. Colouration: brown, ochre, cobalt blue, are predominant.
The piece bears maker's marks for the Mintons pottery. Bears a pattern number, '1143'. Marks include a factory specific date cipher for the year 1879.
