Small Wedgwood Majolica shell salt
Victorian, circa 1875. 2ins high, 3.8ins wide, 2.6ins depth. Wedgwood Majolica salt which features a shell supported by coral.
Colouration: turquoise, red, grey, are predominant.
The piece bears maker's marks for the Wedgwood pottery.

CONDITION: Generally good. No restoration.
Some flakes around the rim
and one to the coral.
KILN EFFECTS: thin glaze application to interior;
slight grey glaze run to interior;
glaze pops and kiln detritus to exterior;
slight staining to interior.
