Rare Majolica square shaped asparagus serving plate
Victorian, circa 1890. 9.3ins high, 9.3ins wide, 1.3ins depth. Majolica serving dish which features asparagus, leaves, and a well decorated with an artichoke.
Colouration: turquoise, green, brown, are predominant. Bears a pattern number, '31H'.

Condition
CONDITION: Good. No restoration. Small flake to under rim.
Wear to the high points of the molding.
KILN EFFECTS: staining to the underside;
a few specks of kiln grit caught in the glaze to the interior.
