Majolica grape & strawberry platter

Victorian, circa 1870. 8.3ins high, 4.3ins wide, 1.5ins depth. Majolica platter which features strawberries, grapes, blossoms and leaves.

Colouration: brown, green, pink, are predominant.

Condition

CONDITION: Good. No restoration. Wear to the high points of the molding.

KILN EFFECTS: glaze run to the blue, green and brown glazes;

small firing pits to the rim;

staining to the underside;

small over glazed chip to the rim.
