Majolica fish swallowing a fish teapot
Victorian, circa 1880. 6.3ins high, 11.4ins wide, 5.1ins depth. Majolica teapot which features a fish swallowing a smaller fish.
Colouration: grey, brown, ochre, are predominant.

Condition
CONDITION: Teapot: Generally good. KILN EFFECTS: flecks of stray coloured glaze to the interior;
glaze run to the grey glaze.
RESTORATION. Filled chip to spout.
Retouched flakes to both rims.
Cover: Good. No restoration. Small flakes to both rims.
Some wear to finial.
KILN EFFECTS: flecks of stray coloured glaze to the underside.
