Wedgwood Napkin in basket Platter
Victorian, circa 1878. 8.9ins high, 12.6ins wide, 1.4ins depth. Wedgwood Majolica platter which features tied bamboo stem handles and a woven napkin to the centre.
Yellow ground version. Colouration: turquoise, black, brown, are predominant.
The piece bears maker's marks for the Wedgwood pottery. Bears a pattern number, '2362'.
Marks include a factory specific date cipher for the year 1878.

CONDITION: Generally good.
Slight wear to interior.
KILN EFFECTS: slight staining to the interior.
RESTORATION: stabilised and retouched hairline to the rim;
retouched flakes around the rim.
