Minton Majolica primrose vase

Victorian, circa 1866. 7.1ins high, 4ins wide, 4ins depth. Minton Majolica vase which features primrose flowers
and leaves stood on bulb feet.



Cobalt blue ground version. Colouration: cobalt blue, cream, cream, are predominant.









The piece bears maker's marks for the Minton pottery.
Marks include a factory specific date cipher for the year 1866.

Condition

CONDITION: Generally good.

Small flake to one leaf.



KILN EFFECT: tiny glaze pops to the cobalt.





RESTORATION: Filled chip to rim.





Retouched flake to rim.



Filled chips and retouched flakes to petals.
Some petals reglued and join retouched.
