Wedgwood Majolica cattail/bulrush posy vase

Victorian, circa 1897. 5.2ins high, 2.6ins wide, 2.6ins depth. Wedgwood Majolica vase which features bulrush central vase with leaf shaped feet.

Colouration: green, yellow, brown, are predominant.

The piece bears maker's marks for the Wedgwood pottery. Marks include a factory specific date cipher for the year 1897.

Condition

CONDITION: Good. KILN EFFECTS: a speck of kiln detritus caught in the glaze to the exterior.

RESTORATION: Two stabilised and retouched hairlines to the rim.

Retouched flakes to lower base edge.
