Lonitz Majolica Swan figure

Victorian, circa 1870. 4.9ins high, 4.9ins wide, 2.8ins depth. Lonitz Majolica figural which features a swan. Colouration: white, cobalt blue, brown, are predominant.









The piece bears maker's marks for the Lonitz pottery. Bears a pattern number, '1767'.

Condition

CONDITION: Good. Small flake to lower base edge and one to underside base edge.





KILN EFFECTS: kiln soot caught in the glaze.



RESTORATION. Filled chip to tip of tail and to tip of foot.
