Victorian, circa 1876. 12ins high, 5.7ins wide, 2.5ins depth. George Jones Majolica wall pocket which features a hummingbird drawing nectar from a flower, amongst lush foliage.
Turquoise ground version. Colouration: turquoise, green, pink, are predominant.
The piece bears maker's marks for the George Jones pottery. English diamond registration mark for the date 30/03/1876.

Condition
CONDITION: Good. Tight hairline to left twig.
Some small flakes to reverse of upper twigs.
Very slight wear to flower stem to top, where the twigs cross over.
RESTORATION: filled chips to twig tips below the pocket.
