Victorian, circa 1880. 1.6ins high, 4ins wide, 2.2ins depth. George Jones Majolica match holder which features oak leaves and acorns. Colouration: brown, green, ochre, are predominant.













Bears a pattern number, '1441 5'.

Dish: Very good. No restoration. KILN EFFECTS: small firing pit to interior;



two small glaze misses to exterior.





Cover: Good. Slight wear to the high points of the molding.



KILN EFFECTS: some slight glaze misses.





RESTORATION: two small retouched flakes to rim.
