Minton Majolica pink ground fish oyster plate
Victorian, circa 1886. 11ins high, 11ins wide, 0.9ins depth. Mintons Majolica oyster plate which features six fish wells.
Pink ground version.
Colouration: pink, grey, turquoise, are predominant.
The piece bears maker's marks for the Mintons pottery.
Bears a pattern number, '2366'. English diamond registration mark for the date 30/09/1881.
Marks include a factory specific date cipher for the year 1886.

Condition
CONDITION: Good. No restoration.
Small flake to under rim.
KILN EFFECTS: kiln detritus caught in the glaze to the interior;
craze lines to the central well;
glaze run in places.
