Lonitz Majolica partridge & chicks cache pot and stand

Victorian, circa 1880. 15.4ins high, 7.9ins wide, 5.7ins depth. Lonitz Majolica cache pot and stand which features a partridge and two chicks in front of an oak tree.





Colouration: green, brown, cream, are predominant.





The piece bears maker's marks for the Lonitz pottery. Bears a pattern number, '1208'.

Condition

CONDITION: Stand: Good. Bruise to the tip of one spiky leaf.



Some small flakes to acorn leaves.





KILN EFFECTS: glaze run to the green and brown glazes.









RESTORATION. Very minor filled chips to oak leaves, spiky leaves and base rim.



















Pot: Very good. RESTORATION. Is a recent remake of the original pot.
