Majolica Corn on cob platter
Victorian, circa 1880. 11ins high, 13.4ins wide, 2ins depth. Majolica platter which features corn on the cob and leaves on a basket weave ground.
Colouration: green, ochre, brown, are predominant.

Condition
CONDITION: Generally good. Some wear and flaking around the rim.
Slight wear to high points of the molding.
KILN EFFECTS: a few touch marks to the front and one to reverse;
slight staining to the centre and reverse;
mould lacks definition in places.
RESTORATION: two filled rim chips.
