Majolica grape & strawberry plate

Victorian, circa 1870. 8.7ins high, 8.7ins wide, 1.1ins depth. Majolica plate which features strawberries, leaves, grapes and blossoms.

Colouration: brown, green, purple, are predominant.

Condition

CONDITION: Good. No restoration. Tight hairline to under rim, not present on front.

Flake to the rim.

Wear to the high points of the molding.

KILN EFFECTS: glaze run to the brown glaze.
