Rare Wedgwood Majolica fox plate
Victorian, circa 1879. 9.2ins high, 9.2ins wide, 0.9ins depth. Wedgwood Majolica plate which features a fox. Colouration: green, brown, ochre, are predominant.
Bears a pattern number, 'M.1602.A'. Marks include a factory specific date cipher for the year 1879.

Condition
CONDITION: Good. A Scratch from use.
KILN EFFECTS: a few specks of kiln grit caught in the glaze to the interior;
touch mark to the underside of the rim;
fleck of stray coloured glaze to the rim.
RESTORATION: Stabilised and retouched crack to rim.
