George Jones Majolica Butterfly trinket dish
Victorian, circa 1874. 1.8ins high, 5.1ins wide, 2.4ins depth. George Jones Majolica trinket dish which features a central flower surrounded by leaves with a brightly coloured butterfly resting at each end.
Colouration: green, white, ochre, are predominant.
The piece bears maker's marks for the George Jones pottery. English diamond registration mark for the date 18/12/1874.

Condition
CONDITION: Good. Small chip to underside, possibly a stilt mark.
RESTORATION: Stabilised and retouched crack to part of the yellow butterfly's wing.
Retouched flakes to yellow butterfly's wing.
Stabilised and retouched crack to one end.
