Victorian, circa 1870. 2.6ins high, 3.7ins wide, 5.7ins depth. Thomas Sergent Palissy Majolica wall pocket which features a bull's head. Colouration: brown, green, blue, are predominant.
The piece bears maker's marks for the Thomas Sergent pottery.

CONDITION: Good. Small flake to right ear and wreath.
KILN EFFECTS: over glazed shrinkage line to the reverse;
a few specks of kiln detritus caught in the glaze to the bull and wreath.
