Victorian, circa 1880. 6.7ins high, 4.5ins wide, 4.5ins depth.

Majolica box and cover which features logs and ivy to both ends.



Colouration: brown, green, ochre, are predominant.

Condition

Cover: Good. Some small flakes to logs.





KILN EFFECTS: glaze run to the green glaze.



RESTORATION: retouched flakes to rim.







Pot: Generally good. Some small flakes to logs and base.









KILN EFFECTS: glaze pops to the exterior;





over glazed shrinkage line to two sides, across the ivy.





RESTORATION. Section to rim reglued and join retouched.



Filled chips and flakes to base edge and corners.
