Minton Majolica pine cone platter
Victorian, circa 1859. 13.8ins high, 13.8ins wide, 1.8ins depth. Minton Majolica platter which features pine cones and needles.
Colouration: brown, ochre, green, are predominant.
The piece bears maker's marks for the Minton pottery. Marks include a factory specific date cipher for the year 1859.

Condition
CONDITION: Generally good. No restoration.
Small chip to rim of basket weave interior
and a small chip to one of the leaves.
Very slight wear to rim.
KILN EFFECTS: glaze run to the green glaze.
RESTORATION: Section of rim reglued and join retouched.
