Majolica swan wall pocket

Victorian, circa 1880. 10ins high, 6.3ins wide, 3.9ins depth. Majolica wall pocket which features a swan amongst cattails/bulrushes.

Colouration: green, pink, cobalt blue, are predominant.

Condition

CONDITION: Generally good.

Some small flakes to yellow rim

and one green side.

KILN EFFECTS: glaze run to the cobalt blue glaze;

uneven glaze application to the reverse.

RESTORATION. Retouched flakes to swan's head, neck, chest,

and wings

and pocket rim

and foot.
