Victorian, circa 1874. 6.3ins high, 15ins wide, 7.9ins depth. Minton Majolica flower basket which features a pierced bowl, with putti either end.
Colouration: turquoise, pink, ochre, are predominant.
The piece bears maker's marks for the Minton pottery. Bears a pattern number, '1726'. English diamond registration mark for the date 18/??/1872.
Marks include a factory specific date cipher for the year 1874.

Condition
CONDITION: Generally good. KILN EFFECTS: glaze pops to the turquoise ground in places;
flecks of stray coloured glaze to the interior;
shrinkage crack to the reverse of one of the putti's shoulders;
kiln detritus caught in the glaze to one of the putti's legs.
RESTORATION. Putti's heads reglued and joins retouched.
