WMF Maiden with boy fruit stand

Circa 1910. 10.5ins diameter, 16.25ins high.

WMF fruit stand modelled as a young lady holding an urn above her head, with two children playing at her feet. Replacement bowl.















Impressed marks 'WMF' and 'I/0' to side of base.



Illustrated on page 62, catalogue number 140d, 'Art Nouveau Domestic Design from Wurttembergische Metallwaren Fabrik' published by the 'Antique Collectors Club'.

Condition

Good. Stand: slight wear.





Some small scratches to the base edge,



neck of urn and finial holding glass bowl in place.







Rim of urn is slightly distorted.





Bowl: a few tiny nicks to the rim.



This bowl is original WMF, but was taken from a different stand and put onto this one.
