pre-Victorian, circa 1800. 13.2ins high, 7.1ins wide, 7.1ins depth. Staffordshire pearlware figure with a religious theme which features the Madonna and Child,
seated on a marbleised base.



Decorated 'in the round' - decoration to front and reverse.











Open bottomed.

CONDITION: Good. No restoration.

Small chip to her head scarf.





Flaking to child's blanket.





Paint losses to the base,

her top





and skirt.





Wear to her shoe.



KILN EFFECTS: over glazed bruise to the child's blanket.
