Staffordshire 'Turkey England France' figure group
Victorian, circa 1860. 11.4ins high, 10.2ins wide, 2.8ins depth. Staffordshire group with a military theme which features Abd-ul-Medjid, Queen Victoria, and Napoleon Bonaparte III, stood on an oblong base. The piece is titled, 'TURKEY ENGLAND FRANCE' . Multi-coloured with underglaze blue version. Dull gilt titles and embellishment.
Decorated mainly to the front.
Vent hole to the underside.

Good.
Paint loss to Victoria's hair.
Some rubbing to gilt.
KILN EFFECTS: slightly stained crazing;
kiln soot caught in the glaze to the reverse.
RESTORATION: Abd-ul's head reglued and join retouched.
