Pair Staffordshire cats with glass eyes
Victorian, circa 1890. Tallest is 14ins high, 8.7ins wide, 4.3ins depth. Pair of Staffordshire figures which feature a cat, seated directly on the ground, no base. Bright gilt embellishment.
Flatback, decorated mainly to the front.
Vent holes to reverse
and underside.

Rubbing to gilt.
KILN EFFECTS: a few specks of kiln grit caught in the glaze.
RESTORATION: Replacement glass eyes.
Filled chip to right front paw.
Left facing: Good.
Flakes to left paws.

Filled chip to right ear.
