Staffordshire figure with a pastoral theme which features cockerel/rooster, stood on a shaped base.
White and gilt version. Bright gilt base line and embellishment.
Decorated 'in the round' - decoration to front and reverse. Vent hole to the reverse.

Good. No restoration. Slight rubbing to gilt.
Slight wear to beak and comb.
KILN EFFECTS: staining to the cockerel's neck and tail feathers;
over glazed shrinkage line underneath the tail feathers and to the cockerel's back;
shrinkage line along the mold join to the cockerel's chest, running down to the base.
