Staffordshire Prattware cockerel
pre-Victorian, circa 1800. 3.3ins high, 2.8ins wide, 1.6ins depth. Staffordshire Prattware figure which features a cockerel, stood on a shaped base.
Decorated 'in the round' - decoration to front and reverse.
Open bottomed.

CONDITION: Good.
Bruise to lower base edge.
Small chips to base edge.
KILN EFFECTS: shrinkage crack to the left wing;
kiln detritus to cockerel's neck.
RESTORATION: Filled chip to base edge.
