Staffordshire Spaniels with pup inkwell
Victorian, circa 1860. 5.9ins high, 6.3ins wide, 2.2ins depth. Staffordshire inkwell which features two spaniels with a pup inbetween them, seated on a cobalt blue base. Dull gilt embellishment.
Flatback, decorated mainly to the front.

Condition
Generally good. No restoration.
A few paint losses to the spaniel's markings and noses.
Some rubbing to gilt.
KILN EFFECTS: a couple of shrinkage cracks to the front
and reverse;
a few specks of kiln detritus caught in the glaze to the base;
piece of kiln detritus caught inside causing piece to rattle;
minor staining to craze lines to one spaniel.
