Large Pair Staffordshire white & gilt spaniels
Victorian, circa 1880. Tallest is 14.6ins high, 11ins wide, 4.9ins depth. Pair of Staffordshire figures which feature a spaniel, seated directly on the ground, no base.
White and gilt version. Bright gilt embellishment.
Decorated 'in the round' - decoration to front and reverse.
Vent hole to the reverse.

CONDITION: Right facing: Good. No restoration.
Flake to front.
Rubbing to gilt.
KILN EFFECTS: staining in places;
notable crazing;
flecks of stray coloured glaze to the reverse;
base uneven, causing it to rock when sat on a flat surface.

Small flake to his muzzle.
Some rubbing to gilt.
Wear to right ear.
