Victorian, circa 1870. Tallest is 4.9ins high, 3.7ins wide, 1.8ins depth. Pair of Staffordshire figures which feature a poodle with pups, seated on a cobalt blue base.
Dull gilt base line and embellishment. Decorated mainly to the front.
Vent holes to the underside. Maker's marks painted to the underside

CONDITION: Left facing: Good. No restoration. Small chip to lower base edge reverse.
Small flake to noses, paw, back, lower base edge and a couple to shredded clay to top of the larger dog's head.
Slight rubbing to gilt.
KILN EFFECTS:
glaze pops to the base, front and reverse.
Right facing: Good. No restoration.
A few paint losses to muzzles.
Slight rubbing to gilt.
KILN EFFECTS: flecks of stray coloured glaze to the reverse.
