Large Pair Kent Staffordshire sheep spill vases
Victorian, circa 1900. Tallest is 7.5ins high, 5.3ins wide, 3.5ins depth.
Pair of Kent Staffordshire figures which feature a ram and a ewe, on an oval base.
Multi-coloured version. Bright gilt base line and embellishment. Decorated 'in the round' - decoration to front and reverse.

Condition
Ram: Generally good. Small chip to side of spill rim.
Small flake to ram's face and right ear.
Some rubbing to gilt.
KILN EFFECTS: notable crazing;
craze line to front left ankle.
RESTORATION. Right ear and some shredded clay to the ground remodelled.
Filled chip to left ear.
Old restoration to cracks to the underside.
Ewe: Generally good. Chip to shredded clay on branch.
Some rubbing to gilt.
KILN EFFECTS: flecks of stray coloured glaze to the ewe's face.
RESTORATION. Both ears remodelled.
