Staffordshire Russet & white flower basket spaniel
Victorian, circa 1860. 8.3ins high, 4.7ins wide, 3.9ins depth. Staffordshire figure which features a spaniel holding a basket of flowers in it's mouth, seated directly on the ground, no base. Russet and white version.
Flatback, decorated mainly to the front.
Vent hole to the reverse.

Condition
Generally good. No restoration.
Small flake to the right ear.
Abrasion to the muzzle.
KILN EFFECTS: staining to the reverse and flower basket;
kiln soot caught in the glaze;
a few specks of kiln detritus caught in the glaze the the head and reverse.
