Staffordshire Beaumaris Castle spill vase
Victorian, circa 1860. 6.1ins high, 7.9ins wide, 2.7ins depth. Staffordshire spill vase which features three towers and a central gate, stood on an oblong base. The piece is titled, ''BEAUMARIS CASTLE'' . Multi-coloured version. Dull gilt titles and embellishment. Flatback, decorated only to the front. This piece represents Beaumaris Castle, which is a castle on the island of Anglesey, North Wales.

Condition
Good.
Slight rubbing to gilt.
KILN EFFECTS: shrinkage crack to the side of the larger spill;
kiln detritus caught in the glaze to the castle
and ground;
stained crazing to the reverse;
craze line to inside the larger spill.
RESTORATION: Filled chip to one merlon.
