Staffordshire twin turreted castle/chapel spill vase
Victorian, circa 1860. 8.6ins high, 6.9ins wide, 3.3ins depth. Staffordshire spill vase which features a castle/chapel with twin turrets, stood on a rectangular base. Multi-coloured version. Dull gilt base line and embellishment.
Flatback, decorated mainly to the front.

Condition
Good.
A few paint losses to the door and green leaves.
Some rubbing to gilt.
KILN EFFECTS: small firing pit to lower base edge at front;
small firing hole to upper base edge at front;
a few flecks of stray coloured glaze;
staining to craze lines to front and reverse.
RESTORATION: filled chips to merlons to both turrets,
and ball finial to centre of roof.
