Staffordshire Pearlware castle spill vase
pre-Victorian, circa 1820. 5.1ins high, 7.1ins wide, 4.5ins depth. Staffordshire pearlware castle which features turreted castle tower, stood on a shaped base.
Decorated 'in the round' - decoration to front and reverse.
Vent holes to the underside.

Condition
Good.
Small chips and flakes to the floral decoration.
Small flake to the ground.
Bruise to the underside.
KILN EFFECTS: shrinkage crack to the underside.
RESTORATION: Stabilised and retouched crack to one side of the tower.
Filled and retouched chips and flakes to the crenelations to the top of the tower.
Two filled chips to lower base edge (one at the base of each path).
