Dudson Staffordshire figure with a pastoral theme which features a sheep shearer, seated on a circular base.
Multi-coloured version. Dull gilt embellishment. Decorated 'in the round' - decoration to front and reverse.

Condition
Good. KILN EFFECTS: shrinkage cracks to the base;
flecks of stray coloured glaze to the reverse.
RESTORATION: Sheep's left ear remodelled.
Filled chips to his hat.
Head reglued and join retouched.
