Staffordshire Pearlware cottage pastille burner
pre-Victorian, circa 1820. 3.7ins high, 3.5ins wide, 3.4ins depth. Staffordshire pearlware pastille burner which features a Tudor style, timber frame cottage with a thatched roof, stood on four feet base. Multi-coloured version. Decorated 'in the round' - decoration to front and reverse.

Condition
House: Good. No restoration.
Tight hairline to rim of house, only visible to the inside.
Some paint losses to ground
and black glazes.
KILN EFFECT: glaze pops to the rim.
Roof: Good. No restoration.
A few small flakes to rim,
both chimneys
and window.
Some staining to interior from use.
KILN EFFECT: shrinkage crack to the interior.
