pre-Victorian, circa 1820. 4.9ins high, 1.4ins wide, 1.5ins depth. Staffordshire pearlware figure with a mythological theme which features Pomona, stood on a square base.
Multi-coloured version. Decorated 'in the round' - decoration to front and reverse. Open bottomed.
This piece represents Pomona, the goddess of fruitful abundance.

CONDITION: Good. No restoration. Some small flakes to base and her left elbow.
Some wear to her hair, fruit and arms.
