Victorian, circa 1890. 4.5ins high, 6.7ins wide, 3.5ins depth. Staffordshire cow creamer with a pastoral theme which features a cow, stood on an oval base.
Russet and white version. Bright gilt base line and embellishment. Decorated 'in the round' - decoration to front and reverse.
Hole with cover to cow's back. Mouth forms a pouring hole.

CONDITION: Creamer: Good. A few paint losses to the cow's tail.
Some rubbing to gilt.
KILN EFFECTS: flecks of stray coloured glaze to the cow's body and face.
RESTORATION. Retouched paint losses to the russet markings.
Cover: Good. KILN EFFECTS: kiln detritus caught in the glaze to the underside.
