Staffordshire cow& milkmaid spill vase
Victorian, circa 1880. 8.5ins high, 9.3ins wide, 2.8ins depth.
Staffordshire spill vase with a pastoral theme which features a cow with a milkmaid, stood on a shaped base.
Bright gilt base line and embellishment. Flatback, decorated mainly to the front.

Condition
Good. No restoration.
Some small flakes to the cow's mouth.
A few paint losses to markings, ears,
pail and stool.
Rubbing to gilt.
KILN EFFECTS: a few specks of kiln soot caught in the glaze to the front;
kiln detritus caught in the glaze to the reverse.
